I have spent the majority of my life happily surrounded by books.  

My current career is as an academic librarian at a small vocational University.  Prior to that I was in bookstore retail management for two different large chain bookstores.  

Although giving books away and assisting patrons for free is infinitely more fun than meeting sales goals, I do miss the large scale marketing campaigns and book displays from my bookstore years.  This project is a way of reconnecting with that larger scale book marketing without having to sell discount cards.  

If you are wondering, all of my vacations must include at least two side trips to bookstores, libraries, ice cream shops, and gardens... much to my husband's dismay.
